Clarius Medical Group PLLC is a dynamic and patient-centered internal medicine and geriatrics practice serving Sugar Land, TX and the Greater Houston area. They focus on primary care across clinics, hospitals, and specialized facilities using advanced EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks and Healow to enhance patient care.
They are seeking a full-time Medical Biller/Coder well-versed in both front-end and back-end billing operations in outpatient or multi-site healthcare environments. This position requires close collaboration with healthcare providers and management to ensure timely and accurate claims submission and optimized revenue cycles.
This is an on-site only role in Sugar Land, TX.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review, code, and process medical encounters using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
- Submit electronic and paper claims through clearinghouses.
- Manage claim rejections, denials, and appeals.
- Reconcile payments and post Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), track outstanding balances.
- Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits.
- Communicate billing inquiries and statements clearly to patients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer billing regulations.
- Generate financial and productivity reports as requested.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, or geriatrics.
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EHR system.
- Professional coding certification (CPC, CPB) preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management workflows.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Employment: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: Hourly $16–$25, commensurate with experience.
