Looking for an experienced medical biller to perform the following duties, part time ON SITE, NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
- Send claims
- Post insurance payments
- Insurance verifications
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Post insurance charges
- Mail patient statements
- Answer phones
- Work insurance aging accounts
Person must be able to multitask, pay attention to detail, adhere to HIPAA requirements, work independently, problem solve, take initiative and be reliable.
Experience in the medical billing field is a must.
This is a part time job from 10 to 15 hours a week located in the North End of Boston. Flexible hours and days.
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
Preferred: 1 year experience with ICD-10.
