Must work for a Children's Hospital.
Experience required in inpatient coding in these areas: NICU, cardiovascular, general surgery, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac surgery, neonatal, pediatric, general med/surg.
Experience using 3M 360, working with CDI team, and Cerner systems.
Children's Hospital experience is mandatory, not just pediatric experience.
Applicants will have a second interview with client and a one-hour coding assessment.
Prefers full-time, experience in pediatrics, NICU, PICU is required. Preferred but not required: cardiac surgery, transplants, and psychiatric.
At least 3 years inpatient coding experience required.
AHIMA/AAPC certification required.
