You will be responsible for researching unpaid insurance claims, resolving claim denials, filing appeals, monitoring aging reports, arranging patient payments, and documenting follow-ups to support effective revenue cycle management.
Work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve claims issues, prevent future denials, and comply with regulatory standards, including patient privacy and billing compliance.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and accountability for meeting deadlines.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in medical billing accounts receivable
- Familiarity with PM systems such as Nextgen or EClinical Works preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
- Understanding of payer-specific reimbursement policies
- Experience with Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) claims
- Goal-oriented, able to identify billing errors and improve processes
