OB/GYN Practice in need of a strong medical biller.
The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for collecting outstanding balances, posting patient and insurance payments, handling inbound calls, assisting patients with billing questions, and resolving billing issues. Additionally, the specialist researches patient and insurance accounts with payment discrepancies and/or denied claims and submits corrections, reconsiderations, and appeals for claim payment. This role involves medical billing of office and hospital claims.
This position is not remote.
Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. At least 1+ years experience in billing. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Team player with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision. High School diploma.
