Ophthalmology/Optometry Biller

Looking for knowledgeable, self motivated individual, with billing experience preferably in an ophthalmology setting to perform the following duties:

• Insurance verification (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and Vision plans)
• Authorization requests
• Follow up on patient/insurance aging reports
• EOB comprehension
• Post insurance and patient payments
• Produce itemized statements
• Have a proficient understanding in insurance claim denials
• Assist with patient inquiries
• Team player able to multi-task
• Knowledgeable in Word and Excel
• Able to navigate various systems/insurance portals
• Basic knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-10

Requirements:

• 1 year customer service experience
• Spanish language required

Work Location:

• In person, Monday to Friday

Pay:

• From $10.00 per hour, with bonus pay available
