Affinity Med Solutions, a leader in out-of-network billing, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join the team. The role is focused on managing billing processes, including calling insurance companies and following up on claims through completion. Previous experience is required, and training on out-of-network billing is provided.
The position is based in-office and is not remote.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical billing software and systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG, and medical collection processes
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives
- Familiarity with medical records management practices is a plus
