Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is hiring a Billing Advocate to support inpatient and outpatient claim submission and follow-up for government payors. This is a remote, full-time opportunity with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
In this role, you will communicate with insurance payors, track claim status, resolve billing issues, and help ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for healthcare services. You will also coordinate with client hospitals and support claim adjustments, denials, and reporting tasks as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 1+ years of experience in hospital or professional claim billing and follow-up preferred
- 1+ years of experience using electronic medical records systems such as EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech preferred
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, patients, the public, and client staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask with strong organizational and planning skills
- Must have a home internet connection that meets company upload and download speed requirements for remote or hybrid work
