Responsible for handling inbound calls about billing statements and outstanding patient balances in a healthcare revenue cycle environment. This role supports account resolution, patient statement questions, billing explanations, refund and adjustment requests, correspondence processing, and monthly close activities while maintaining quality, productivity, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Basic qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of revenue cycle customer billing
- Detail-oriented with strong customer service focus
- Strong time management and ability to manage individual assignments
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential information
Preferred qualifications
- Secondary education or medical certification
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Knowledge of CRM tools and related analytics desired
