Bayhealth Medical Center is seeking a Medical Biller / Certified Coder to support the full medical billing and coding workflow for physician practices. This role is responsible for preparing encounters for submission, abstracting clinical information from medical records, assigning appropriate diagnosis and CPT-4 codes, correcting errors and denials, and maintaining accounts receivable processes to support organizational revenue cycle goals.

The position is based in BH Medical Group Physician Practices with a days shift and full-time schedule of 80 hours.

Requirements & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
Three (3) years of professional medical coding experience required
Three (3) years of experience with full medical coding functions preferred
