The Billing Specialist provides patient account and billing support following established standards and practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of medical billing experience in a medical office environment; OBGYN experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of billing and insurance processes and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment
- Effective and courteous communication with coworkers, providers, and patients
- Ability to use a computer and enter data in an electronic medical record system; eCW experience is a plus
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual
