The Revenue Cycle Specialist supports team operations by helping solve problems, coaching team members, and assisting with training and day-to-day workflow coverage when needed.
This role monitors and maintains work queues related to registrations, self-pay, Medicaid, and other accounts; assists with missing surgery reports; reviews operative notes to determine readiness for processing; supports data entry; resolves patient billing and reconciliation issues; and helps departments meet monthly goals and deadlines. The position also processes billing for various departments in a timely manner and maintains charge capture activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of relevant experience

- Bachelor's degree
- Exposure or experience with medical coding
