Intouch Medical Supply is hiring a Medical Billing Associate to support billing operations, claims research, and payment resolution for home medical equipment, services, and supplies.
The role works closely with the Billing Manager and Director of Revenue to review balance billing, resubmittals, and redeterminations, while helping improve payment outcomes and client service.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of prior office experience
- Experience with claims processing, claims research, and payment posting preferred
- Prior experience with health insurance claims and billing strongly preferred
- Prior experience with UB-04 or CMS-1500 claims and HCPCS codes strongly preferred
- Prior knowledge of the medical field or home health care desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent telephone and client interaction skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage a high volume of claims resolution work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
