The position involves reviewing and correcting claims, handling denials and appeals, verifying coverage, posting payments, reconciling accounts receivable, and staying current with CMS guidelines and home health billing regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience; home health experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A & B, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Experience with billing platforms such as Change Healthcare, Availity, or Office Ally
- Familiarity with OASIS, NOA submissions, and PDGM is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage high claim volume and meet deadlines
