Monitors the activities and performance of physician practices to ensure billing-related functions are performed efficiently and in alignment with department policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Interfaces with physicians and administrators to support financial growth and stability and communicate new or revised procedures.
- Monitors fee structure accuracy, reimbursement payment schedules, cash deposits, and refunds from third-party payers.
- Serves as a resource for resolving complex billing situations.
- Guides billing and clerical staff on billing and office procedures.
- Coordinates clinical documentation requests to the business office to support timely appeals.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to improve billing workflows and maximize case collections.
- Reviews financial management processes and recommends improvements across billing areas.
- Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
