Medical Biller

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit medical and dental claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers
• Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with payer and FQHC guidelines
• Resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts as needed
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance standards

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of medical billing experience, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid
• Dental billing experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing codes, claim forms, and reimbursement processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Additional Requirements

• Must provide proof of vaccination or approved exemption
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Medical marijuana card is not accepted
