This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Director of Call Center and supports patient communication, billing-related inquiries, and payment processing in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer customer questions with a goal of resolving issues on the first call.
- Update confidential information and insurance billing details.
- Process credit card payments.
- Manage tasks in internal work queues and update information as needed.
- Respond to patient inquiries by phone regarding concerns and resolutions.
- Work with collection agencies to provide accurate account information.
- Respond to attorney requests for balances and correspondence, and update and bill insurance as needed.
- Complete workflow for patient self-pay accounts, including reviewing correspondence, posting payments, and resolving concerns.

Requirements & Qualifications
What it takes to join the team
- Experience answering high-volume calls in a call center or customer support role is preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds.
