Full-time opportunity with a growing medical practice for a detail-oriented billing specialist.
The practice has served the CSRA for over 40 years, with five offices, 16 physicians, and a wide range of specialty care services. The organization has recently expanded to Statesboro as well.
In this role, you will handle all aspects of the insurance revenue cycle, including charge entry, payment posting, A/R follow-up, and patient and insurance calls.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience
- Familiarity with medical insurance and medical terminology
- Knowledge of the full revenue cycle, including claims processing, denial resolution, maximizing reimbursement, and accounts receivable preferred
- Strong computer skills, data entry ability, and attention to detail
- Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to comply with company policies
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently and with others
- Trainable, proactive, and detail-oriented
