Responsibilities include billing and account resolution within revenue cycle management, along with reporting and account updates for management and clients. The role involves some direct client and patient interaction while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing preferred
- Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Average understanding of medical and insurance terminology
- Average knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze standard revenue cycle metrics
- Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate with clients and management
- Ability to build interpersonal relationships that support teamwork and internal goals
- Payment processing and accounting experience preferred
