Patient Support Medical Claims Processing Representative
Contract remote role open to remote U.S. candidates.
IQVIA provides commercial solutions for biopharma, medical device, and diagnostic companies, with a strong focus on patient support programs. In this role, you will help provide payment assistance solutions such as co-pay cards or vouchers and support patients by reviewing medical claims submitted by HCPs or patients.
You will receive claims, verify supporting documentation, interpret EOB/CMS1500 forms, and apply program-specific business rules to determine whether a claim should be paid or rejected. The role also includes providing support to customers through phone, email, fax, or other contact methods as needed.
This position is a contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time IQVIA employee.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in claim processing required
- Medical billing certification required
- Coding certification required
- Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- HIPAA certified
- Customer service experience preferred
- Pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET
- Ability to work under moderate supervision
