Medical Billing and Coding Associate
DocGo is seeking a detail-oriented billing and coding professional with a primary focus on coding to support accurate claim processing, denials management, and revenue cycle operations in a healthcare setting. The role involves working with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, resolving claim issues, following up on unpaid claims, and collaborating with operations and customer service teams.
This position is full-time, hourly, and in-person in Ridgewood, NY.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of medical billing experience required
- Experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Ambulance billing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing and medical necessity
- Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
- Ambulance/medical billing certification or diploma preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, analytical environment
