Join One Health Ohio as a Medical Billing Specialist. This role supports billing and reimbursement operations in a healthcare setting, including claim submission, payment processing, patient billing support, and coordination with insurance companies and internal staff.
You will help ensure accurate billing, compliance with HIPAA regulations, and timely follow-up on delinquent accounts while supporting providers and the billing team with coding and EMR-related training.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience preferred
- Certified Biller required
- Certified Coder preferred
- Knowledge of billing, coding, claims submission, and collections processes
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work at any OHO location as needed
