Paradigm is a fast-growing technology company focused on home care operations and billing automation. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely claim submission, billing compliance, and documentation support to help maintain clean claims and minimize payer rejections.
This role supports billing workflows for Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and other payers, works closely with internal teams to improve billing processes, and reports to the Medicaid Billing Manager. The position is on-site Monday through Friday in North Miami, FL.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Experience working in billing and healthcare preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Strong follow-up, time management, and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Understanding of medical billing practices and payer requirements
- Ability to verify coding-related billing details such as taxonomy codes and modifiers
