The MMG Clinical Biller is responsible for completing billing services using CPT and ICD-10 codes. The role works closely with physicians and clinic staff to ensure all charges are captured and is responsible for billing E&M outpatient and inpatient services.
Responsibilities include:
- Charge capture
- Professional claim edits
- Professional claim and claim rejection edits
- Special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications and preferred experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience
- Knowledge of ICD-10 codes
- Experience with charge capture process improvement and compliance education
- Preferred knowledge of correct coding guidelines
- Preferred experience with oncology-related services
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
