Oak Creek Terrace, a Caring Place Healthcare Group facility, is hiring a Skilled Nursing Biller to support resident billing, collections, and account maintenance. The role focuses on accurate charge processing, payment posting, census tracking, reconciliation, and maintaining resident ledger integrity while working closely with residents, families, and the management team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience as a biller for a skilled nursing facility
- Strong understanding of pay sources including Private Pay, Medicare, Medicaid, My Care Buckeye, and Workers' Comp
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to discuss financial obligations with residents and families
- Experience with the debt collection process, including dunning letters, liens, and estates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 products including Teams, Excel, and Word
- Must be in good general health and free of communicable diseases
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
