This role is an on-site A/R Billing Specialist position focused on working outstanding insurance claims, resolving denials, correcting claims, writing appeals, and supporting successful claim adjudication through the EHR system (Athena).
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous medical accounts receivable experience
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and EHR software applications, preferably Athena
- Workers' compensation A/R experience preferred
