Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to handle Medicare, Medicare Advantage, insurance, and Medicaid billing. This fully remote role is responsible for timely billing, resolving accounts receivable activities, communicating with facilities to obtain documentation, reviewing eligibility when needed, and posting adjustments.

Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care business office or medical billing/collections role
- Knowledge of Medicare, insurance, and Medicaid health plans
- Experience with insurance billing; multi-state billing experience is a plus
- Understanding of the UB-04 form, including revenue codes, value codes, occurrence codes, and type of bill
- Ability to contact Medicare, insurance, or Medicaid health plans when required
- Working knowledge of computers, hardware, and software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or training
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
- Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulatory compliance requirements
