Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Lead Medical Biller to support the daily operations of the billing team for a rapidly growing mobile surgical physician wound care organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end claims lifecycle, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely submission of medical claims across all payer types.

The Lead Medical Biller serves as a subject matter expert, helps drive team performance, resolves complex billing issues, and supports compliance with federal, state, and FQHC-specific billing regulations. This position is hybrid and based in Playa Vista, CA.

Requirements & Qualifications

Good verbal and written communication skills
2+ years of Lead Medical Biller experience required
Medical billing diploma or relevant work experience
Lytec or Medisoft experience preferred
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
High school diploma or equivalent required
