Patient Support Medical Claims Processing Representative for a 100% remote contract role supporting patient assistance programs.
You will receive medical claims from HCPs or patients, review supporting documentation, interpret EOB/CMS1500 forms, and apply program-specific business rules to determine whether a claim should be paid or rejected.
The role may also provide support to customers via telephone, email, fax, or other communication channels and requires working 40 hours per week on the 10:00am–7:00pm ET shift.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in claim processing required
- Medical billing certification required
- Coding certification required
- Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- HIPAA certified
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
