InTouch Med Supply is seeking a driven AR/Collections Associate to support timely payment collection for medical billing operations. The role works closely with the Director of Billing and the billing team to research claims, resolve denials, process adjustments, and support appeals and resubmissions for healthcare and third-party payers.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role handling claims processing, payment posting, or claims research
- Experience with medical billing, accounts receivable, and payer collections
- Familiarity with health insurance claims, including UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms
- Knowledge of HCPC codes, denial codes, common rejection reasons, and timely filing limits
- Ability to manage a high volume of claims resolution work
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong telephone and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
