Outpatient Coder II

Networks Connect Healthcare Staffing

We’ve partnered with a large academic health system in Chicago to find an experienced Outpatient Coder II. This is an opportunity to join a high-volume, high-complexity coding team at a respected academic medical center.

The client is a large academic health system known for teaching, research, specialty care, and strong compliance and clinical excellence. It is designated as both a Level I and Level II trauma center and is recognized for high-acuity populations, complex surgeries, and transplant programs.

In this role, you will serve as a coding and reimbursement expert across complex outpatient encounters, including Observation stays, Same Day Surgery, Surgery Center, and Outpatient in a Bed. You will apply knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT codes, and modifiers to support accurate coding and reimbursement.
