The Coding Specialist performs medical record coding activities, assigning appropriate diagnostic codes to patient charts and reports.
This role focuses on clinical coding for GYN cases and supports accurate coding and reimbursement workflows. The position is fully remote and based out of Dallas, TX.
Requirements & Qualifications
- GYN experience required
- CPC certification required
- Clinical coding experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT-4 coding
- Ability to maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards
- Communication and organization skills
- Writing skills
- Ability to work with medical assistants and other staff in coordinating medical information and patient charts
