Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HCC coding and/or CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
- Current medical coding certification required: CRC, CPC, or CCS
- Proficiency in Excel
- Comfortable working with computers and electronic health records
- Ability to review medical records thoroughly and identify coding risks or missed opportunities
- Strong communication skills for provider education and documentation follow-up
