💰 Pay Rate: $19.00–$23.00/hour
⏰ Schedule:
- Training period: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Post-training: Set 8-hour schedule Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
📍 Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite/Hybrid)
⏳ Duration: Contract-to-hire
Work Model & Training
- Initial phase is 100% onsite for the first 60–90 days for mandatory training and performance evaluation
- After 60–90 days, eligible candidates may transition to a hybrid schedule with 2 days in office if quality and productivity standards are met
- Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of San Antonio
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor claim statuses and proactively resolve rejections or denials
- Follow up with insurance carriers regarding outstanding claims
- Review and appeal denied claims while meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements
- Maintain knowledge of insurance regulations, billing guidelines, and coding updates
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance
- Generate and analyze collections reports to identify trends and process improvement opportunities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Focused back-end revenue cycle experience required for the highest pay range ($22–$23/hour)
- Must be able to work onsite during the training period
- Must live within commuting distance of San Antonio
