Reporting to the Office Manager, the Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for processing, reviewing, and filing insurance claims through to resolution and payment. The role also supports patients with billing questions and collection of patient balances.
This position may work on multiple accounts with responsibilities that vary by client needs. Some accounts require team collaboration, while others may require independent completion of the full billing process.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up experience
- Physician claim billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Skill in using computer programs and applications
