Prime Healthcare, an award-winning health system with hospitals and outpatient locations across multiple states, is seeking a Billing Specialist to support managed care and commercial accounts.
The role is responsible for timely follow-up on accounts, clear communication with health plans, maintaining productivity standards and reporting, obtaining state collection guidelines when applicable, and reviewing managed care contracts.
This position is full-time and scheduled for day shift.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hospital managed care or commercial collector experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Knowledge of contract interpretation
- Familiarity with hospital billing requirements
