This role focuses on charge entry, billing accuracy, client financial communication, payment processing, and administrative support within a fast-paced veterinary care environment. The position works closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure proper charge capture and a positive client experience.
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers specialty services including dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and emergency care.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high-volume veterinary hospital or medical billing role
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to mentally calculate percentages, differences, and totals
- Ability to read treatment sheets and determine appropriate charges independently
- Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and common procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Idexx Cornerstone software is a plus
