Seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to support one of the company's healthcare clients in a fully onsite role in Lake Mary, Florida.
This position focuses on healthcare billing operations, patient collections, insurance verification, and EOB interpretation. The role includes handling billing inquiries, resolving unpaid balances, and supporting Revenue Cycle Management activities.
Work arrangement: 100% onsite
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $23 to $25 per hour (W2)

Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound patient billing calls and emails.
- Review billing statements, patient balances, and EOBs/Remittance Advice.
- Follow up on unpaid accounts and process payments and refunds.
- Maintain accurate account and collection records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in medical billing, collections, or healthcare customer service.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and EOB interpretation.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship.
