3-month contract-to-hire role supporting revenue cycle operations in a healthcare setting. This position focuses on account resolution, claims follow-up, billing, collections, cash reconciliation, and reimbursement activities. The specialist works cross-functionally with departments, payors, and patients to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant resolution of patient accounts.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work setting: Onsite
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, billing, collections, or claims
- Knowledge of UB-04 and HCFA 1500
- Experience with hospital billing preferred, including inpatient and outpatient
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, denials, and insurance follow-up
- Strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills
