To provide direction, instruction, and guidance to a team responsible for medical billing and revenue cycle support. This role works closely with the CBO A/R Manager to manage projects, develop process improvements, and support daily team performance and productivity. The supervisor also provides guidance to team members, helps maintain effective workflows, and acts with discretion and professionalism.
The position requires strong knowledge of medical billing operations, physician revenue cycle processes, and relevant tools such as EPIC. The role supports training, issue resolution, audits, and new hire onboarding while helping the team meet operational goals.
Three to five years of experience in medical billing or coding.
Minimum of one year with PPN, or manager-recognized expertise, to learn systems, policies, and procedures.
Strong understanding of the physician revenue cycle.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of third-party billing regulations and CPT/ICD coding.
Routine CRT and data entry skills.
Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
Proven dependability.
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
