Cascade Foot & Ankle - Yakima, a division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking an experienced medical billing specialist to support revenue cycle operations across clinic and ambulatory surgery center services.
This role is primarily focused on billing and accounts receivable, including pre-authorizations, claim follow-up, denial resolution, and EOB processing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing claims from submission through resolution.
The position also includes patient access and front desk support as needed, such as scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient payment collection.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on medical billing / revenue cycle experience required
- Experience with denials, EOBs, AR follow-up, and pre-authorizations required
- Experience with ASC or surgical billing strongly preferred
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and insurance workflows
- Experience working aging reports and resolving unpaid claims
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EMR/EHR and billing systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
