POST Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a highly organized and proactive Outpatient Therapy Biller to support outpatient therapy clinics in Tempe, AZ. This role is based at the Tempe Service Center and focuses on accurate billing, collections, and revenue capture for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services.
The position supports multiple outpatient clinics and their directors by ensuring timely and efficient billing practices, account receivable collections, and accurate reporting of revenue and claims activity. The role also involves working with Medicare Part B and Medicare Advantage claims, using standard revenue, CPT, and HCPC coding, and coordinating with clinic staff across locations.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with Medicare B billing and eligibility recognition
- 1+ year of experience with Waystar, NextHealth, or Therapy Source preferred
- Experience with billing clearinghouses required
- Rev Springs/Loyal or other POS services preferred
- Knowledge of CPT coding procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, DDE, and Point Click Care preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams and self-manage in a work environment
- Knowledge of Medicare and other state regulatory requirements
- Ability to quickly assess issues and solve problems
