Overview
Prosper Infusion is a leading provider of home infusion therapy and is growing its Revenue Cycle Management team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support medical accounts receivable and collections for one or more site locations in the Westchase, FL office.
The role focuses on collection processes, claim follow-up, billing accuracy, and resolving outstanding balances in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in medical collections
- Working knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement; home infusion experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of automated billing systems
- Working knowledge of metric measurements, basic accounting practices, ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to type 40 WPM and use a 10-key calculator
- Ability to independently obtain and interpret information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
