OB/GYN private practice seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to support revenue cycle operations onsite in Davenport, IA.
The role is responsible for managing medical billing workflows, including claims submission, payment posting, denial follow-up, and communication with patients and staff to resolve billing issues accurately and efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience, preferably in OB/GYN
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance guidelines
- Experience with EHR/PM systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athena preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in women’s health or specialty practice billing preferred
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers preferred
- CPB or similar certification is a plus
