POST Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a highly organized and proactive Outpatient Therapy Biller to support billing and collections for outpatient therapy and rehabilitation services.
This role is based at the San Antonio Service Center in San Antonio, TX and supports multiple outpatient therapy clinics. The position focuses on accurate billing practices, timely collections, and coordination with clinic directors and staff.
The role includes billing Medicare Part B and Medicare Advantage claims, reviewing documentation for billable items, verifying eligibility and authorizations, and communicating revenue and collection information across multiple locations.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with Medicare B billing and eligibility recognition
- 1+ year of experience with Waystar, NextHealth, or Therapy Source preferred
- Experience with billing clearinghouses required
- Rev Springs/Loyal or other POS services preferred
- Knowledge of CPT coding procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and DDE; Point Click Care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with diverse teams and self-manage
- Knowledge of Medicare and other state regulatory requirements
- Ability to assess issues quickly and solve problems
