This role focuses on reviewing medical records for accurate ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and diagnosis coding, posting charges, and collaborating with providers, the denials team, and the central billing office to resolve coding and billing issues.
The position supports NKC Health's mission of empowering hope and healing while helping ensure coding accuracy and timely charge posting across physician services.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in physician coding and billing
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Proficient computer skills
