This position supports physician practice billing for Albany Med Health System. The role focuses on timely follow-up of delinquent and denied accounts from third-party payers, helping secure revenue for services provided by physicians through appeals, phone calls, and account review. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, and extensive on-the-job training is provided.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; AAS degree preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Phone-based customer service experience is a plus
- Proficiency in office software, including Excel and Word
- Proficiency using payer websites
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
