Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Clinical Data Coder to join our Clinical Coding & Support team in Cincinnati, OH. This position works on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success.
The role focuses on accurate coding of medical terms and medications, coordinating the assignment of appropriate dictionaries, maintaining coding guidelines, issuing queries for adverse events and medical history terms, collaborating with Medical, Data Management, Safety, and Biostatistics teams, and producing coding reports for review and utilization.

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) providing Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
Qualifications
- BSN and RN with applicable experience required, or a more advanced clinical degree such as PharmD accepted
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and multitasking skills required
- Experience using MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries preferred
- Experience working with clinical trials or within the pharmaceutical environment preferred
