The Health Information Management Technician II is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient health records. This role supports medical record completion, document imaging and scanning, release of information, record retention, data entry into the electronic health record, and chart correction activities.
Additional responsibilities include data integrity support for duplicate record merges, patient overlays, chart corrections, breach notification support, and MyChart assistance such as login troubleshooting, proxy access setup, and message routing.
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred
- 1+ years of health information system experience
- Associate degree in a related field
- RHIA or RHIT certification from AHIMA
