Spring Health is building a pipeline for a Medical Records Coordinator to support medical records processing for its mental health services.
This role focuses on sending patient authorization forms, retrieving medical files, facilitating form completion from members and providers, and supporting records release requests in compliance with HIPAA. The position provides non-clinical administrative support to members and providers and reports to a Care Support Team Lead.
The role is temporary, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time based on performance and business needs. Scheduled shifts are offered in EST and include:
- 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
The position also requires flexibility for occasional shift changes, 1 weekend per month, and at least 4 holidays per year.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Advanced understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office
- Comfort working in fast-changing environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and context switch efficiently
- Tech-savviness and adaptability with new tools and platforms
This is a temporary contract position and is not eligible for non-statutory benefits. The role may be extended or converted to permanent full-time depending on performance and business needs.
